The Health and Disability Services Complaints Office (HaDSCO) is an independent statutory authority (Combined Goverment Department) committed to improving healthcare and disability services through effective complaint resolution and system improvements. By providing a platform for users to voice concerns and seek resolutions, HaDSCO plays a pivotal role in fostering transparency, accountability, and trust within the community. With a focus on fairness and impartiality, HaDSCO empowers individuals and organizations to collaboratively address concerns, ensuring services are continually refined to meet evolving needs.

HaDSCO’s initiatives are driven by a vision of equitable access to quality healthcare and disability services. Through community engagement, education programs, and robust analytics, HaDSCO identifies trends and systemic issues, advocating for meaningful reforms across sectors. Its commitment to inclusivity ensures that every voice matters, enabling people from diverse backgrounds to contribute to the improvement of critical services.

Strengthening accountability through design.

My contributions to HaDSCO include the creation of a suite of new website UI assets that enhanced the user experience while meeting stringent accessibility standards. Additionally, I designed the 2014-2015 Annual Report, as well as various report templates and campaign collateral, ensuring that each design embodied clarity, professionalism, and inclusivity. By integrating accessible design principles throughout these materials, I supported HaDSCO’s mission of fostering transparency and engagement, helping the organization connect effectively with diverse audiences and stakeholders.
