DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORT
WORKFORCE INCLUSION AND DIVERSITY PLAN (2021–2023)
Visual Style and Print Design
This campaign showcases the visual style and print design created for the Department of Transport in Perth, Western Australia, for their Workforce Inclusion and Diversity Plan (2021–2023). The design celebrates diversity across age, race, gender, and ability, translating these values into a dynamic visual identity. A flexible shape-based brand system was developed to symbolize the many walks of life that come together to form a unified, inclusive workforce and community.
Accessible, Cultural, and Future-Focused Design
The adaptable shapes also form patterns that represent cultural pathways, reflecting the rich diversity of global traditions. The color palette was carefully selected to be fully accessible, ensuring clarity and readability for individuals with disabilities. Custom icons and illustrations were created to highlight key focus areas of the plan. A standout feature of the campaign is a 3D isometric infographic that visualizes the future of Western Australia’s workforce across key industry sectors—bringing the strategy to life in a modern, engaging format.
